ISACA is a professional, supplier-independent and nonprofit organization enjoying a global
leadership in IT governance, Security, Risk, Control and Assurance. It was started in 1967 by a small group of individuals who recognized a need for a centralized source of information and guidance in the growing field of auditing controls for computer systems. As of November 2024, ISACA has more than 180,000+ members associated to 225 Chapters in 188 countries worldwide.
One of those 2225 chapters is the ISACA Riyadh Chapter which was established in early 1995 and enjoys membership strength of about 1250+ members associated with it as of Nov 2024 and the certification mix of CISA (448), CISM (352), CGEIT (47), CRISC (214), CDSPE (92), CSX F (4) and CSX A (5). With a vision of spreading IT Governance, Information Security & Information Systems Auditing in an independent, non-profit and professional way in the Riyadh Region in line with ISACA Vision, the Riyadh Chapter is overcoming challenges that come its way. The Chapter has focused on conducting Technical Sessions, Exam Preparation Courses and participating in events with like-minded organizations. The Chapter also won the ISACA Presidential Cup in 2008, which was received by the Chapter President at the ISACA International Conference in Toronto in the presence of more than 1,000 professionals from more than 70 countries.
