Dr. Manal Alassaf

Dr. Alassaf holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The George Washington University. Currently she is the executive director of Digital Delivery At Worley in the region of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, SSSA, and Egypt. She is also on the advisory board of Fikraventure.AI. She is also an Executive Committee member of the National Committee of IT & Communication, Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce.

With 20+ years of experience and nearly a decade of them at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA, she served as a technical lead and senior software engineer for Power BI, a globally recognized business intelligence solution. Following her tenure at Microsoft, Manal assumed the role of Director of Engineering and Development at the National Center for AI (an arm of SDAIA) during 2022-2023. Over the past 10 years, Manal has successfully led the development and deployment of cutting-edge software products, including the innovative Gen AI product (Allam.ai). Her scientific publications and US patents reflect her commitment to advancing technology and empowering people.
